Abdulkhaliq Ahmed

Abdulkhaliq Ahmed Abdulle is an experienced Credit Manager and economist with strong expertise in microfinance, credit risk management, and data-driven decision-making. He has a proven track record in managing loan portfolios, supervising credit operations, and implementing robust credit appraisal, monitoring, and recovery procedures to ensure healthy and sustainable portfolio performance.

He currently serves as the Credit Manager at Himilo Microfinance (MFI), where he oversees credit operations across multiple branches, ensures portfolio quality, and leads the promotion of efficient, responsible, and customer-centered lending practices. Prior to this role, Abdulkhaliq served as a Branch Manager and worked as a consultant supporting small and medium enterprises (SMEs) through financial advisory and business development initiatives.

In addition to his professional work, Abdulkhaliq is also an active university lecturer, contributing to academic research, capacity-building programs, and broader social development efforts.
