Himilo MFI is technology focused (Data driven), taking advantage of new
technologies to improve the quality of service to clients. We are the first MFI to go 100% mobile, enabling clients to repay their loans using existing Mobile Money Facilities, such as SAHAL, EVC, and E-DAHAB, YEEL, T-Plus, and MyCash Mobile Money.
Himilo investment eligibility requirements are encouraging the poor to access financial services due to the lack of collateral requirements, which are hard to meet in many poor and low-income households, businesses, and individuals.
Access to credit in Somalia for many of the poor, low-income households, and the business they manage are all too starved often for finance. In Somalia there are number of commercial banks who offer investment for business but with hard to meet requirements including collaterals, grantors and many more.
